I'd like to introduce myself to the world of blogging. My name is Nadine and I've just published my first children's book. It's been quite an experience so far. The excitement of getting my work published was tough but its been more of a chore trying to figure out where to begin with the advertising .
Of course everyone wants to be a success story no matter what your dreams are but when certain areas of promotion are new to you and you have to get advice from everywhere because your scared to make a mistake, it gets very frustrating.
When all you want to do is get children to read your story and like it a lot so they reccomend it to thier friends ....its more challenging than I ever imagined.

As someone who has had the pleasure of reading the first draft of this story, I can honestly say I was intrigued! Jake is a lovable character that I immediately related to. Being a very inquistive person myself. I would recommend this book to anyone, with or without children, who possesses an active imagination. I hope I can travel with Jake on more adventures in the future! Nadine do you think Jake will make another journey, I'd love to know!
